Orders will be processed and ready for shipping within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday). Please note, due to the handcrafted nature of our products, some products are made to order and as such, may require longer processing times.
The following items will require 3-5 business days to process:
-Made-to-order jewelry
-Customized products
-Any product that is affected by supply delays (e.g. due to the Covid-19 pandemic). If this is the case, you will be notified within 24 hours of your purchase regarding any possible delays
Each individual product and order are packaged and shipped with care in sustainable, eco-friendly packaging*. Upon receipt, please recycle, reuse, and compost as needed.
*Disclaimer: Due to the nature of our glass products, we use recycled (and recyclable) bubble wrap for cushioning to ensure all products arrive to you safely and undamaged.
We ship orders via Canada Post and customers have the option to select from the following shipping speeds:

Once an order has been dispatched, confirmation of dispatch along with Canada Post tracking information will we be emailed to the customer. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available before checking status. If you have not received your order within 14 business days of dispatch, please contact us via email at support@apleasantthought.com with your name and order# and will investigate it for you.
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your selection of shipping speed.
We offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $75 within Canada and the US only. This will be applied automatically at checkout if applicable.

If you are purchasing from the USA or internationally (outside Canada), please do your research to ensure there are no surprise charges when clearing your package through customs, and to have an idea of what the additional cost may be.
You, the buyer, are responsible for any tariff, duty, taxes, VAT, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost - charges vary around the world.
If you are unfamiliar with customs fees and charges, please speak to your local postal or customs office for more information. It is your full responsibility to verify the customs.
A Pleasant Thought accepts returns within 30 days of delivery on any product that has not been opened, used, damaged, burned, or altered (such as surface scraping).
Upon receipt of your return, we will issue a full refund (minus shipping return costs). If your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@apleasantthought.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to make it right for you!
